Birthday Bash Thursday 26th November ATOD’s
30th birthday bash was a huge success with nearly 200 people
turning up for the event. Actors, performers, directors,
production crews and office staff from ATOD’s past helped
celebrate their contribution to deaf performing arts in Australia.
A showreel
screened on the night showing pictures and performances tracing
the production history since 1979 was a huge hit – the
hair styles, outfits and moustaches deserve a particular mention!
The night was filled with laughter, reminiscing and memories (good,
funny and embarrassing!). If anyone
would like a DVD copy of the showreel they can be purchased for
